Payment, booking and treatment policies

Payment Policy

Payment is accepted in cash and by bank transfer to Susie. Bank details will be shared with you when the treatment appointment is booked.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

Your treatment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please give at least 24 hours notice by text message, phone call or email if you cannot make your appointment.

If cancellations are made with less than 24 hours notice, they are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment booked. Clients who miss appointments without giving prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled treatment.

Late Arrival Policy

All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule, so late arrivals may not receive an extension of the scheduled appointment time. In special cases, and when the schedule allows, a partial or full appointment may be accommodated at Susie’s discretion.

No Show Policy

At Soul Peace Holistic Healing, Susie understands that unanticipated events can occur. However, please call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss appointments without giving prior notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service.

Informed Consent

Prior to each treatment session, a consultation will be discussed with you. At your first visit you will be asked to complete and sign the consultation form and a consent form. Clients who have not been seen for at least a year may also be asked to complete updated forms.

Consultation Forms

The public website enquiry form is for appointment questions and booking requests only. Please do not include detailed medical information in the enquiry form.

Once an appointment time has been agreed, Susie will send the consultation and consent form directly to you by email so it can be completed before your first treatment, or discussed and completed when you arrive if preferred.

Appointments

To help secure your preferred appointment time, book as far in advance as possible. Please notify Susie of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when booking.

Medical Disclaimer

Licensed reflexologists and holistic practitioners do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. Susie may refer you to a medical doctor for diagnosis or treatment. Please consult a medical doctor about any specific condition requiring medical care.

Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries

Susie is happy to adjust pressure, temperature, music volume, work longer on an area or move on if requested. You may leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage method that feels uncomfortable, or stop the treatment at any time.

Only the area being treated will be undraped, and clients will be kept informed of the area to be massaged or treated.

Confidentiality and Records

All client visits and conditions are treated as confidential. Appointment records, completed consultation and consent forms and treatment records are held in line with GDPR and current data protection legislation.

Client records are retained for at least 7 years following the last treatment, or 7 years after a minor reaches the age of 18. After this period, records will be securely destroyed.

Your Data Rights

You have rights under the Data Protection Act 2018, including the right to access, rectify, restrict, object to, erase and request a copy of your personal data. Some records may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, insurance or taxation purposes.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the client’s responsibility to keep Susie informed of any current medical treatment and any changes in health conditions. For clients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, a doctor’s note may be required before treatment can continue.
